Arthritis:
Arthritis is a condition that affects joints, which can cause pains, swellings or stiffness in the joints. It can affect any joints in the body and have different symptoms also. According to the site, cause and symptoms of arthritis are categorised to many. The two main types of arthritis are Osteoarthritis and Rheumatoid arthritis.
Osteoarthritis: It causes due to the normal wear and tear process of the body. Degenerative changes in the joints can lead to reduced the joint spaces and thereby causing stiffness and uneasiness during movements. It is generally associated with swelling and pain in the joints.
Rheumatoid Arthritis: It causes due to the autoimmune reaction of the body. Body’s immunity system will attack the body’s own cells that produce lubricating fluids in the joints. Thereby increasing the joint friction and causing inflammation inside the joints.
Other types: Gouty arthritis, Psoriatic arthritis, Infectious arthritis

Treatment:
Arthritis can be treated and cured completely depending on the type and severity. Treatments mainly aim for arresting the joint damage and increasing the joint lubricants.
